More about Stephanie:
As a busy working mom, she understands the daily challenge to plan and prepare delicious, homemade, healthy meals for the family. She also knows how stressful it is to manage each of your kids diverse food preferences and dietary restrictions. Her oldest is vegetarian, youngest is an omnivore, and second vacillates between the two depending on the day. She gets the struggle!
When she went vegan overnight in 2010, she did it on her own without the support of family or friends. Since then, she's been on a journey with her mixed bunch of vegan, vegetarian and omnivores to simplify her meal planning process in order to bring more joy to her kitchen and dining room table. Her family struggled to finally find their groove, but she quickly realized: life is better with a meal plan!
Stephanie Dreyer is a plant-based meal planning expert and the founder of StephanieDreyer.com where she helps busy parents bring more ease to their meal prep and mealtimes.
She is the author of two children’s books, Not A Nugget and Not A Purse, both available on Amazon. Stephanie has been featured on KCAL 9 in Los Angeles, and in VegNews and Chickpea Magazine. Stephanie is also a contributor to several media outlets, including World of Vegan and VegNews.
Stephanie holds a M.S. in Integrated Marketing from Northwestern University and a B.A. in Communications from The University of California, San Diego. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband and three children. When she’s not writing at her laptop or chasing after her kids, you can find her cooking something delicious or reading something wonderful. Visit her at Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Pinterest.
She is on a mission to help families eat healthier. She wants to inspire the world to get in their kitchens more and in the fast food lane less. If she could wave her magic wand, she would make sure every child in the world has access to an abundance of fresh fruits and vegetables daily—and enjoyed eating them! (And, side note, she would save all the animals.)
